smart film for cars how it works

1. technology: the film contains liquid crystal particles sandwiched between two layers of transparent conductive film.

2. power OFF (opaque): in the absence of an electric field, the liquid crystals are randomly arranged, causing the film to appear opaque or "off". 

3. power ON (transparent): when an electric current is applied, the liquid crystals align in an orderly fashion, allowing light to pass through and the film to become transparent.
